Faith and Excellence in Catholic Education

Admissions Policy

The Island Catholic Schools were originally established to provide an education for Catholic students residing in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Victoria. Non-Catholic families may be interested in a faith-based education for their children, therefore, students not of the Catholic faith are also accepted.

Join the Queen of Angels Catholic School community today and unlock a world of opportunities! We warmly welcome you to enroll with us and experience our exceptional academic programs, enriching extracurricular activities, and supportive community. Your journey towards a bright future starts with us!

How to Apply

We would be delighted to welcome your family to Queen of Angels Catholic School! To begin the enrollment process, please complete the Student Application Form. You may choose either the “printable” or “fillable” version—whichever is most convenient for you.

Once your application is complete, feel free to email it to the school, send it to the address below, or drop it off in person. After we have received the completed application along with all required documents, we will schedule an assessment for each prospective student, followed by a meeting with the student, their parent(s)/guardian(s), and our principal.

Admissions Notes

A $100 non-refundable application fee should accompany each new student application. This fee is payable through our school’s online payment platform School Cash Online. Applications will be considered complete once this fee and all required documentation have been received. Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. Placement testing is required for all grades, and acceptance is subject to space and availability. We appreciate your interest and look forward to reviewing your application.

Should you need to withdraw your child from the school, we kindly ask that one month’s notice be provided. In the absence of this notice, an additional month’s tuition will apply.

Please note that it is the parent/legal guardian’s responsibility to inform the office of any changes to the enclosed information.

Parents/legal guardians agree to ensure full payment of all fees in advance by one of the following methods:

  • By single advance payment of the full amount; or
  • By submitting 12 equal payments using the school’s pre-authorized debit form.

Welcoming International Students

Island Catholic Schools offer programs for students in pre-kindergarten through grade twelve.

If you are interested in applying to Island Catholic Schools as an International Student please download the applicable Island Catholic Schools International Students forms.

Each school follows the curriculum established by the Ministry of Education of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, which includes a full range of electives in fine arts, sports, and technology. No school is larger than 500 students. This enables teachers to provide an atmosphere that leads to high student achievement. Information about each school can be accessed from their websites on the left; as well, see our brochure for information about all of our schools.
